Lamorinda Moms hosts many exciting seasonal programs for members and their families.
With a huge membership base, Lamorinda Moms is incredibly fortunate that we have so much to give to our community and beyond. Each special event includes a philanthropic program component; for example, collecting toys, craft supplies, food etc. for a specific charity.

Valentines Day Party
Love is always in the Lamorinda Air. The Valentine’s Day party was started in 2011 and more than 300 moms, dads and children attended! We hope you will join us next time for snacks, entertainment, cookie decorating and Valentine crafts.
Egg Hunt
The Egg Hunt is Lamorinda Mom’s largest event of the year, often with over 700 attendees. Don't miss this delightful outdoor affair! The Egg Hunt is typically held a week or so before the Easter holiday in March or April. To ensure all children are able to gather eggs at their own speed, there are separate hunts for toddlers and older children. In addition to the Egg Hunt, there is entertainment, treats, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Be sure to bring your camera and don’t forget your Easter baskets!
SummerFest
Lamorinda Moms SummerFest was started in 2010 and was a smashing success from the get-go! 600 members, spouses/partners, and children attended the event in 2011. Families enjoy a variety of games and activities including, jumping in three bounce houses, winning prizes at carnival games, crafting, taking train rides, exploring a fire truck and police car, getting faces painted, collecting balloon animals, petting farm animals, grooving to music and snacking on yummy food and treats from Top Dog and Loard’s Ice Cream.
Halloween Trick-or-Treating event!
Get your costumes ready for our annual Halloween Trick-or-Treating event! This spooktacular celebration is held on a Saturday morning in October. Downtown Lafayette is transformed into a scene from a story book full of colorful characters. There is no shortage of grins and giggles as the kids run from store to store, collecting candy and treats.
Preschool Fair
Started in 1998, the Lamorinda Moms’ Preschool Fair is held in November. Each year representatives from more than 40 local preschools attend and share their programs and philosophies with the public. More information about the Preschool Fair will be posted as available on the Preschool Fair page.
