Helpful Hints
- Simplicity is best! The newsletter is printed in black and white although the digital copy (PDF) is in color. Photographs reproduce well only if provided in high resolution, non-glossy format (like .tif or .png) and large image size. Choose easy-to-read fonts (i.e., Times New Roman, Arial). Italicized words and fancy fonts are often distracting and difficult to read. Avoid clutter. Do not put too many words in the ad. Stick to key points; bullets work well. Be selective with graphics. Black and white cartoon-type graphics and sketches are acceptable, as long as they are not too detailed.
