Advertising Guidelines
- All ads must be ready-to-run and sized to the exact proportions specified. We do not adjust artwork. If your ad does not meet our requirements it will not be run.
- We must receive an electronic copy of your ad by the first of the month prior to when your ad is scheduled to run (i.e. the deadline for submitting an ad to run in the February issue is January 1st).
- All artwork must be submitted in black and white.
- All artwork must be submitted in one of the following file formats: psd, tif, bmp, or png and with a resolution of 300 dpi or higher.
- For ads that run for multiple months, Lamorinda Moms will substitute new ads with date changes, etc. provided that copy changes are submitted to us by the appropriate deadline.
- We accept advertisements on a first come first serve basis until we reach our limit of ads for that month. Submitting your ad by the deadline does not guarantee that your ad will be run.

Helpful Hints
Simplicity is best!
NO color. The newsletter is printed in black and white.
Photographs reproduce well only if provided in high resolution, non-glossy format (like .tif or .png) and large image size.
Choose easy-to-read fonts (i.e., Times New Roman, Arial). Italicized words and fancy fonts are often distracting and difficult to read.
Avoid clutter. Do not put too many words in the ad. Stick to key points; bullets work well.
Be selective with graphics. Black and white cartoon-type graphics and sketches are acceptable, as long as they are not too detailed.
