Lamorinda Moms was originally founded by a group of women looking for connections and friendships in their community. Over the years, we have evolved into a group of parents from different backgrounds and family types. We are proud to support our LGBTQ+ and BIPOC families, as well as single and adopting parents.
We believe in creating a safe, diverse, and inclusive community for our members. Lamorinda Moms is a place where parents are able to ask for advice and help without judgement, celebrate milestones among peers, and share experiences with others on their own parenting journey. We hope all families in our area who are seeking community, local resources, and a parental outlet are able to find what they need from us and our members.

INTEREST groups
Interest Groups are the heart of our community. Member-organized groups are formed by children’s age or parent special interest. Join as many as you’d like or volunteer to start your own. We also organize playdates and socials by neighborhood to help you meet families in your local area.
MEMBERS-ONLY events
Get out of the house and have some fun! Members are included in all of our events ranging from seasonal festivals for the whole family, to small socials just for parents. Past favorites include our annual Egg Hunt, Fall Fest, parents’ night out, golf tournaments and family picnics!

Held each November, our annual Preschool Fair brings many of the most popular preschools in Lamorinda together so that you can get your questions answered in one night.
